Peter Kang

Peter B. Kang, MD, FAAN, FAAP

Dr. Kang is the principal investigator (PI) of the MD STARnet project in Florida. He is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Neurology and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine.  He is a pediatric neurologist and neuromuscular specialist who has extensive experience with laboratory and clinical research studies related to muscular dystrophy.  He has served as the principal investigator for several laboratory-based research projects funded by the NIH and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
